Human Resource Specialist
This is an in-depth Job Training Program for Human Resource Specialist. Upon completion of the program, you will have a great understanding and background in all Human Resource and Management for success outside of the military. Work within a Veteran Owned Organization and gain experience and resources in Compliance, HR Software, Data Management, Recruitment Strategies, Talent Acquisition, Conflict Resolution, Employee Engagement, Labor Laws, Payroll and Compensation Analysis, Leadership Training and Employee Development, Workforce Planning, and more. Shadow HR Leadership in daily operations to learn, practice, and lead Human Resource tasks at a small operation and government contractor. Receive mentorship, career coaching, and job placement assistance.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Human Resources Specialist is responsible for overseeing and administering Human Resource processes and systems including benefit administration, employee and labor relations, HRIS programs and systems, usage and classification administration, payroll administration, regulatory compliance and related activities in accordance with generally accepted Human Resource standards. They assist in the formulation, determination, and effectuation of management policies in the administration and effectuation of employee and labor relations and is responsible for maintaining confidentiality concerning such matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing and administering Human Resource processes and systems
- Administering benefit administration, employee and labor relations, HRIS programs and systems, usage and classification administration, payroll administration
- Maintaining regulatory compliance and related activities in accordance with generally accepted Human Resource standards
- Assisting in the formulation, determination, and effectuation of management policies in the administration and effectuation of employee and labor relations
- Maintaining confidentiality concerning employee and labor relations matters
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous HR Experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with HRIS programs and systems
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in HR
- Understanding of payroll and classification administration
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Previous HR Experience Preferred, must have security clearance, must be E6 and above
