ABOUT THE JOB
SAUSA's in the Civil Division will focus on defending the United States in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, employment discrimination, constitutional torts, medical malpractice, and immigration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the U.S. Government in federal court on civil matters.
- Defend the United States in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.
- Handle cases related to employment discrimination.
- Manage cases involving constitutional torts.
- Address issues related to medical malpractice and immigration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a J.D. degree.
- Be an active member of the bar (any jurisdiction).
- Have at least 1 year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
- Exceedingly strong academic background.
- Exemplary writing skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
