ABM Operations Manager

ABOUT THE JOB
Key Responsibilities: Labor Management: Oversee staffing, fill open positions promptly, manage vacation liability, and optimize workforce productivity through self-performance and efficiency initiatives. Financial Oversight: Monitor and control spending, review P&L statements, ensure compliance with financial policies, and drive cash collection efforts to meet regional goals. Client Retention: Maintain a client retention rate above 95% through proactive relationship-building, regular engagement, and identifying opportunities for contract renewals and upselling. Safety Leadership: Prioritize workplace safety by enforcing compliance, addressing root causes of incidents, and conducting regular safety meetings and reviews. Performance Improvement: Identify and address underperforming accounts, collaborate with financial planning teams, and implement action plans to enhance profitability. Business Growth: Actively participate in industry events (e.g., BOMA), meet potential clients, and collaborate with sales teams to generate new business opportunities. Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on results. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in facilities management or a related industry. Ability to manage budgets, labor, and client relationships effectively. Familiarity with financial reporting, safety regulations, and process improvement.
