Training Areas:-Cyber threat analysis and mitigation strategies.-Information security policies, frameworks, and compliance standards.-Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.-Reverse engineering techniques for malware analysis.-Tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Splunk. What You’ll Learn:-Identifying and responding to cyber threats.-Implementing security controls to protect critical systems.-Testing systems for vulnerabilities and strengthening defenses.-Translating military cyber skills to private sector environments.
-Has served at least 180 days on active duty.-Is within 180 days of separation or retirement.-Will receive honorable discharge.-Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.-Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.-Received Unit Commander authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
