Risk Control Consultant
The Risk Control Consultant/Contractor is responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of risk management practices, and providing direct occupational safety consulting for a diverse range of clients, including manufacturing, ambulatory/healthcare, construction, education, agriculture, staffing agency, oil & gas, and other service-based accounts.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Risk Control Consultant/Contractor is responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of risk management practices, and providing direct occupational safety consulting for a diverse range of clients, including manufacturing, ambulatory/healthcare, construction, education, agriculture, staffing agency, oil & gas, and other service-based accounts. Key Responsibilities: Identify potential hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide recommendations to minimize risks, reduce incidents, and promote a safe working environment. Assess client needs, develop written programs, implement programs, and train client employees. Conduct OSHA 10-Hour/30-Hour programs for Focus clients as needed (now or at a future date upon successful completion of credentialing), if authorized by The OSHA Training Institute. Assist with claims management as required. Conduct assessments of companies to determine their eligibility for certain insurance policies, including Workers Compensation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practices
- Provide direct occupational safety consulting

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and evaluate risk management practices
- Knowledge in occupational safety consulting
- Capability to identify potential hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Ability to develop, implement, and train on safety programs
- Eligibility to conduct OSHA 10-Hour/30-Hour programs upon successful completion of credentialing
