This structured internship training program prepares transitioning service members for civilian HR Generalist roles. Participants rotate through Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations/LOA, Payroll, HR Operations, and HR Leadership strategy. This is a training-focused SkillBridge opportunity and not a full-performance employment role.
Program Length 6 Months (180 Days) Work Arrangement Remote with possible in person- Denver/CO preferred Training Structure 50% Synchronous / 50% Asynchronous Reports To VP of Human Resources (Program Sponsor) Ideal Candidate Profile • 1–3 years of HR-related military experience (personnel admin, manpower, training admin, pay/benefits, etc.) • Interest in civilian HR career pathways • Strong professionalism and confidentiality • Comfort working in remote environments and learning HR systems Learning Objectives & Skills HR Operations & Compliance, Talent Acquisition fundamentals, Employee Relations exposure, Payroll and HRIS basics, Strategic HR collaboration. Supervision & Mentorship Primary Supervisor: VP of HR Functional Mentors: Talent Acquisition Lead, Employee Relations/LOA Lead, Payroll Specialist, HR Operations Representative Training Schedule Expectations Approximately 40 hours per week of structured training engagement. 50% synchronous learning (live coaching, shadowing, division sessions). 50% asynchronous learning (self-paced modules, practice exercises).
