License Practical Nurse (LPN)Length of internship: 12 weeksLocations Available: Rochester, MNPosition OverviewThe LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and/orprovider in patient assessment and care planning.QualificationsGraduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in aprofessional nursing program (e.g., some states allow RN students to take the LPN board exam aftercompleting one to two years in the RN program). If graduation did not occur within the last two years,one year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required. Additional Qualifications:License or Certification: Current LPN license by applicable staterequirements. Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers- BCLSWe will only accept certificates of course completion from the following providers:• American Heart Association (Title: BLS for Healthcare Providers or BLS Provider) • Red Cross(Title: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers or BLS for HealthcareProviders)• Military Training Network.
