The Baxter Enterprises Inc. program teaches students how to work successfully within the automotive repair and service industry. Students will learn skills such as extensive product knowledge such as Tires, Parts and Service Repairs. The customer experience is also a major focus with items such as: telephone techniques, management techniques, customer sales and service training.

ABOUT THE JOB

Service Advisor-Assistant Manager: Work with the service team to drive auto repair sales, procure parts and provide a stress-free car care experience for every customer. Act as the connection between customers' needs and technicians. Clearly communicate to the customer the vehicle recommendations of the service team and technicians and ensure those recommendations represent an accurate diagnosis and viable solution. Distribute work to the technicians and work under the leadership of the Manager ensuring the technicians are appropriately efficient. Become knowledgeable on our tires & other automotive products and services we offer. Keep pace with customers, balance multiple priorities and use good time management and workflow. Automotive Technician: Diagnose and perform repairs on various vehicle makes (ie: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, computer systems, etc.) Coordinate parts ordering with the Service Advisor to enable efficiency. Road test vehicle to ensure repairs are complete. General Maintenance Technician: Perform repairs and vehicle maintenance on various vehicle makes. (fluid maintenance, filter replacement, brakes, suspension, alignment, tires, etc.) Coordinate parts ordering with the Service Advisor to enable efficiency. Road test vehicle to ensure repairs or maintenance is complete. General Service - Tire Technician: Perform automotive services on customers' vehicles such as mount and balance tires, tire repairs, oil changes, install batteries and perform scheduled maintenance. Complete a 30-point vehicle condition report on all vehicles serviced. Assist in maintaining a well-organized, clean shop atmosphere.
