Vertique Automation Operator - System Operators are in a lead position. They are imperative in keepingVertique (Automated Warehouse System) running efficiently andsafely. Operators assist in managing both the Vertique system and theteam working within the system.

ABOUT THE JOB

Automated System Operators - The Automation System Operator assists and facilitates case-picking and sorting activities within an assigned portion of the automated warehouse utilizing computers, software, and complex machines; proactively monitoring upcoming orders; guiding and assigning team members to ensure efficient operation. This role also provides performance-based feedback, provides work direction and guidance to the team, assists the Vertique Supervisor in interviewing potential candidates, and provides key support as designated by the Automation Supervisor. Finally, the System Operator is expected to adhere to all established Atlantic Bottling safety procedures and policies, must have the ability to multi-task and make sound proactive decisions in a noisy and busy work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and facilitates case-picking and sorting activities within an assigned portion of the automated warehouse utilizing computers, software, and complex machines.
• Proactively monitors upcoming orders; guiding and assigning team members to ensure efficient operation.
• Provides performance-based feedback, provides work direction and guidance to the team.
• Assists the Vertique Supervisor in interviewing potential candidates.
• Provides key support as designated by the Automation Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous technical or engineering experience.
• Willing and able to learn about managing Vertique (Automated Warehouse System).
• Ability to multi-task and make sound proactive decisions in a noisy and busy work environment.
• Adherence to all established Atlantic Bottling safety procedures and policies.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Previous technical or engineering experience who is willing and able to learn about managing Vertique (Automated Warehouse System) and potentially training on the maintenance of Vertique.There is a specific level of physicality involved with this position. Pre-employment agility testing and pre-employment drug testing will be required.
