Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Pilot - Intership

The objective of our program is to ensure personnel can operate drones within FAA regulations, ensuring safe and efficient mission completion, maintain visual and airspace awareness during all flights, execute pre-flight checks and equipment maintenance to ensure mission readiness, engage in continuous communication with the team for operational efficiency, and address and troubleshoot any technical issues to maintain high operational standards.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking passionate and certified sUAS Pilots to join our innovative and ever evolving team. As an Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC), you will be integral to our Drone as First Responder programs by ensuring rapid response, equipment readiness, and the highest standards of flight safety. As we are working with sensitive information and Law Enforcement and Emergency Service agencies, pilots must be able to uphold and practice discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate drones within FAA regulations ensuring safe and efficient mission completion
• Maintain visual and airspace awareness during all flights
• Execute pre-flight checks and equipment maintenance to ensure mission readiness
• Engage in continuous communication with the team for operational efficiency
• Address and troubleshoot any technical issues to maintain high operational standards
• Ensure rapid response and equipment readiness as part of Drone as First Responder programs
• Uphold and practice discretion when working with sensitive information and Law Enforcement and Emergency Service agencies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Part 107 Certification
• Ability to uphold and practice discretion
