Mercury is seeking a Logistics Client Support Guide to help build the future of frustration-free logistics with us. This position requires tenacity, problem solving skills and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.This is not a remote position, in-office presence in our Columbus Office is required. Expected hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.Responsibilities of the role:Respond to client shipping requests and inquiries via emails and phoneProvide clients consultative guidance on which of our services will best meet their needsTrack shipments throughout transit and proactively notify clients of status and work with carriers to promptly resolve any issues or delaysWork directly with clients and Provide prompt response to serviceBook client shipments with a broad network of Mercury partnersReview and process domestic and international shipping documents for accuracy and completeness before submission to partners and customs officialsUse our ZenDesk CRM and internal Transportation Management SoftwareUpdate our Mercury CRM to reflect the most up-to-date, accurate, and detailed information on each shipmentAdd vendor and client charges to shipment info to streamline invoicingComply with all company business processes, procedures and work instructionsWho We’re Looking For:The ideal candidate for the role of Logistics Client Support Guide role takes initiative a strong sense of urgency and perform well under tight deadlines. You are a great multi-tasker and do well under pressure. As a member of a client’s dedicated support team, your strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust will be critical to your success. This position is instrumental in providing the level of superb care and commitment that our clients have come to expect and depend on from Mercury. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree 1-2 Years of work experienceAbility to understand current and future needs of our clientsExperience with the Microsoft Office suiteA willingness to learn and work in a start-up environmentGood oral and written communication skills, in person and electronicallyDemonstrated ability to resolve problems quickly and collaborativelyStrong organizational and follow-through skillsExceptional work ethic

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to client shipping requests and inquiries via emails and phone

  • Work directly with clients and Provide prompt response to service
  • Book client shipments with a broad network of Mercury partners
  • Review and process domestic and international shipping documents for accuracy and completeness before submission to partners and customs officials
  • Use our ZenDesk CRM and internal Transportation Management Software
  • Update our Mercury CRM to reflect the most up-to-date, accurate, and detailed information on each shipment
  • Add vendor and client charges to shipment info to streamline invoicing
  • Comply with all company business processes, procedures and work instructions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 Years of work experience
  • Ability to understand current and future needs of our clients
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
  • A willingness to learn and work in a start-up environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills, in person and electronically
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems quickly and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Exceptional work ethic
