This distinction is one of the five priorities that the President of the University, General (Ret.) Mark A. <p> <strong>SkillBridge Internship positions are all dependent on availability</strong>. New internship positions can be added depending on demand. Our 90-180 day internship program is led by industry experts teaching, coaching, and training participants in the practical application of skills learned during the program. Interns are exposed to employee training and career development as they work under close supervision of university staff.<strong> Possible Internship Opportunities with Texas A&M: </strong></p><ul><strong><li>Finance and Business Services</li> <li>Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness</li> <li>Marketing and Communication</li> <li>Office of the Commandant</li> <li>Environmental Health and Safety</li> <li>Facilities Management</li> <li>IT/Network Management</li> <li>Transportation Services</li> <li>University Police Department</li> <li>Utility and Energy Services</li> <li>Geochemical & Environmental Research Group (GERG)</li> <li>Health Science Center: College of Medicine, School of Public Health, & the School of Nursing</li> <li>Pharmacy Technician Program</li> <li>Veterinarian Technician Program</li></strong></ul><p> </p> <p>Service members benefit from wellness classes, guest speakers, and guided training or curriculum curated for transitioning service members.</p><p><strong>The Pharmacy Technician Program</strong> is designed as a cohort-based training plan, and the SkillBridge participant <strong>must start at the established cohort date. </strong></p><p><strong>Veterinarian Technician Programs</strong> require <strong>prior experience</strong> in this discipline to participate.</p><p>There are some exceptions; inquire about those by emailing <a href="mailto:skillbridge@tamu.edu">skillbridge@tamu.edu</a></p>
