Amgen Employment
Amgen's fellowship program provides on-the-job training along with extensive support for transitioning service members and military spouses. Individuals have a chance to shadow, network and work in cross functional teams. All fellows are assigned an Amgen Buddy who is a member of our Veterans Employee Resource Group. We also offer weekly team meetings with the fellowship cohort to discuss tips and tricks for getting hired, as well as listen to presentations about various business areas within the organization. Bi-weekly check-ins are scheduled with the Veteran Employment Program manager to discuss progress and to provide guidance.
ABOUT THE JOB
Veterans and military spouses can fit in anywhere at Amgen. Potential fellows are encouraged to explore all different areas of the business to find the best fit for them. Areas where fellows have participated in the past have been in Project Management, Human Resources, Staff Relations, Business Performance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Organizational Effectiveness, Information Systems, Corporate Functions, Results Delivery Office, Operations, Sales, Learning & Development, Research & Development, Cybersecurity, Law, Strategic Planning and Security.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shadow, network, and work in cross-functional teams
