Antech Systems seeks professionals experienced with the SKED 3.2 application, with strong communication and instructional skills, to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME). The Application Specialist is expected to assist end users with the SKED application through a combination of remote application support and classroom style training, in accordance with the Navy’s Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) program. This position requires some travel. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen living in the San Diego area, with the ability to acquire a Security Clearance and a U.S. Passport. Responsibilities include:Provide SKED software technical support via phone, email and on-siteConduct SKED training in a classroom environment for U.S. Navy personnel and other SKED end usersPerform SKED software and database installationsAnalyze Navy PMS data from various sources to identify problem resolutionsCollaborate with team members to accomplish tasksAssist with quality assurance testing of the SKED software application productsProvide ideas and recommendations for process improvement Education & Experience:7-10 years’ active-duty experience with the Navy’s Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) Program5-7 years’ experience using SKED 3.2 software3 or more years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory position (3MC/3MA experience is preferred)Instructional experience (NEC 9502 or Education degree) is a plusRequired Skills:Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsPolished verbal and written communication, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar, spelling and terminologyTroubleshooting / Problem SolvingPublic Speaking in a classroom / instructional environmentAble to work within a team and independentlyMulti-tasking and prioritization skillsQuickly grasp new conceptsCritical ThinkingDetail-oriented and resourcefulnessComputer proficiency, including a solid understanding of standard Microsoft Office productsAntech Systems, Inc.
