ABOUT THE JOB

A Human Resources Manager or Generalist oversees the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. They develop and implement HR policies, manage compensation and benefits programs, handle workplace conflicts and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including EEO, FMLA, and OSHA requirements. In defense contracting environments, they also manage security clearance processes, ensure compliance with government contractor requirements like affirmative action plans and VETS-4212 reporting, and may handle workforce planning to support contract staffing needs. They serve as a strategic partner to leadership on talent management, organizational development, and creating a positive workplace culture while protecting the company from employment-related legal risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Oversees the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Develops and implements HR policies, manages compensation and benefits programs.
• Handles workplace conflicts and disciplinary actions, ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws including EEO, FMLA, and OSHA requirements.
• Manages security clearance processes, ensures compliance with government contractor requirements like affirmative action plans and VETS-4212 reporting.
• Serves as a strategic partner to leadership on talent management, organizational development, and creating a positive workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in managing compensation and benefits programs.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws including EEO, FMLA, and OSHA requirements.
• Experience in a defense contracting environment managing security clearance processes and compliance with government contractor requirements.
