Logistics SupervisorThe Logistics Supervisor oversees daily operations within the logistics and supply chain function, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Logistics Supervisor works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, control costs, and achieve performance targets while ensuring accuracy,timeliness, and safety in all logistics activities.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:• Implements logistics programs, procedures, movement, and storage of materials across the FT Rucker Aviation MaintenanceServices Program IAW the PWS, Army, USAF, FAA, and company guidance.• Ensures proper inventory control planning and scheduling to meet contractual commitments.• Oversees the requisitioning effort, provides oversight for tracking materials and supplies, and periodically examinesmaterials delivered to the different airfields and work centers to verify conformance to specifications.• Oversee the coordination of the clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage, turn-in and issuanceof parts, materials, supplies and equipment.• Assist in the planning and projection of total material requirements program wide.• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve logistics operations and protect resources.• Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism.• Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating tologistics operations.• Ensures sufficient material, manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements.• Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.• Apply Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.• Ensure employees possess the training and equipment necessary to comply with regulatory requirements.• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience:• Army aviation logistics and supply chain supervisory experience preferred.• High School Diploma or equivalency required, bachelor's degree in related field desired.• Should possess familiarity and knowledge of logistical systems/plans, regulatory standards, Army supply and deliveryprocedures.• Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.• Possess and understanding of aircraft maintenance, supply, safety, and quality control procedures in a military aviationenvironment are highly desirable.• Must be proficient in MS Office.• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.• Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within proximity of runningequipment and aircraft.• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professionaland non-confrontational attitude.• Must be able to work evening and/or night shift as necessary.
Training plan will be provided when candidate is approved for program participation by Chain of Command. Training plan will be tailored to approved SkillBridge length.
