This SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with structured exposure to business operations and venture capital through guided training, mentorship, and supervised participation in real-world business environments. Participants will learn how early stage companies are evaluated, how operational decisions are made, and how strategy is executed within a growing organization.The program is designed to translate military leadership, analytical thinking, and execution discipline into a civilian business context. Training is delivered through observation, assisted project work, and mentorship, with a focus on professional development and practical understanding of private sector operations. This program is educational in nature and meets all DoD SkillBridge requirements.
This position aligns with entry level to mid-level business operations, venture analyst, or strategy roles in private-sector organizations. Individuals in these roles typically support business evaluation, operational planning, and strategic initiatives by gathering and organizing information, assisting with research and analysis, and supporting cross-functional teams.Job duties commonly include supporting market and industry research, assisting with business model evaluation, preparing internal materials, maintaining operational tracking systems, and supporting leadership teams with data organization and reporting. These roles operate in collaborative environments and require strong communication, analytical thinking, and execution skills.
Participants must be approved for SkillBridge by their command and be within their authorized transition window. Strong interest in business, operations, strategy, or venture capital is recommended. No prior civilian business experience is required.
