Welder - As a welder, you will be responsible for joining metal using a variety of techniques to form tanks. Duties include cutting and welding materials according to manufacturing approved drawings. We are looking for employees who are enthusiastic, willing to learn and can follow instructions in a physical nature job.
ABOUT THE JOB
Welder Duties/Responsibilities:• Build from blueprints and drawings• Machining fabrication materials and components• Fitting, setting and installing fabricated structures• Cut, bend and shape with a variety of processes• Accurately read and use a tape measure to help produce small steel parts required per drawing specification using various powered tools/machines• Operating plasma, cutting equipment and machinery in a safe manner• Ensure paperwork and job cards fitting to each job are completed• Maintain a clean and work safe environment
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to use hand tools
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Lift 50+ pounds
- Accurately read and use a tape measure
- Available to work Monday - Friday
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Welder Intern should be mechanically inclined, able to use hand tools, stand for extended periods of time, lift 50+ pounds, accurately read and use a tape measure. Welder requires Monday - Friday schedule. Upon completion of this training, the welder will:• Communicate work tasks effectively and independently.• Safely and properly use PPE and welding equipment.• Consistently produce high-quality, accurate, and efficient welds.• Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding tank dimensions.• Apply proper techniques in rolling steel sheets and handling materials safely.The overall aim is to equip the welder with both the technical skills and the confidence needed to perform welding tasks effectively and safely in real-world situations.
