Project Manager, Education & Community Engagement (EdCE) Program Evaluation
ABOUT THE JOB
This role will primarily support the Education and Community Engagement (EdCE) team as the Project Manager for program evaluation for the 2024-25 season. The position will involve interdepartmental collaboration to gather and provide data used by the institution to communicate program impact in various ways.In addition to project management responsibilities, the EdCE Program Evaluation Analyst will also have the opportunity to gain insight into other departments, including Fundraising, Orchestra Personnel Management, Artistic Operations, and Human Resources/Finance, offering a comprehensive understanding of our organization.Over the course of the 6-month training period, the analyst will become familiar with software and communication tools not typically offered in standard job placement environments, which are exclusive to performing arts organizations. These include Tessitura, OPAS, union collective bargaining agreements, concert reports, and more. Throughout the training, the analyst will gain an understanding of education and community engagement strategies, project management, contracts and payments for various stakeholders, budgeting, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Education and Community Engagement (EdCE) team as the Project Manager for program evaluation for the 2024-25 season.
- Interdepartmental collaboration to gather and provide data used by the institution to communicate program impact.
- Gain insight into other departments, including Fundraising, Orchestra Personnel Management, Artistic Operations, and Human Resources/Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of direct experience in performing arts.
- 3+ years of experience in arts administration, including creating and supporting organizational systems and processes to manage projects.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including some holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to change course.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
-5+ years of direct experience in performing arts.-3+ years of experience in arts administration, including creating and supporting organizational systems and processes to manage projects.-A collaborative, generous, and team-oriented attitude contributing to a positive organizational culture.-Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including some holidays.-Strong verbal and written communication skills.-Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to change course.
