Finance Technician, seeking junior to mid-level.
A Finance Technician performs day-to-day accounting and financial tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing, data entry, invoice reconciliation, expense report processing, and maintaining financial records in accounting systems. They assist with payroll processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and prepare basic financial reports to support the finance team and management. In government contracting environments, they help maintain job cost records, process contract billing and invoicing under FAR requirements, track timekeeping for labor charging, and support documentation needs for government audits (DCAA/DCMA). They work under the direction of senior finance or accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions while maintaining proper segregation and traceability required for defense contracts.
Bachelor's preferred.
