The Agape Counseling Service SkillBridge Training Program provides transitioning military service members with practical, hands-on experience in managing the daily operations of a group mental health counseling practice, coordinating business projects, and developing professional life coaching skills. The program emphasizes transferable leadership, communication, organization, business administration, and client engagement competencies. Unlike a traditional classroom-based program, participants will learn through direct mentorship, observation, supervised business operations, practical exercises, and progressively more independent responsibilities. The training focuses on three primary professional development areas: Practice Management & Business Operations Daily practice administration, SimplePractice, Google Workspace, scheduling, billing, team coordination, operational oversight, and business processes. Project Management & Organizational Leadership Plan and coordinate projects, develop timelines, assign responsibilities, track progress, improve business processes, and evaluate results. Professional Life Coaching Coaching ethics, professional boundaries, communication, goal setting, client assessments, accountability, coaching sessions, and program development.
