SkillBridge Opportunity: Low Voltage/Security TechnicianLocation: Miami, Florida (In-person)Pay: $50,000 – $55,000 upon completion of SkillBridgeAbout the Role:Our Client is seeking a motivated and process-oriented technician to join their team through the SkillBridge program. This opportunity is ideal for transitioning service members with a background in electronics, communications, or security systems.
ABOUT THE JOB
Responsibilities:• Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision• Work with access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management systems• Mount and terminate field devices (e.g., Readers, Door Contacts, REXs, Cameras)• Follow schematic wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation procedures• Complete documentation and administrative tasks promptly• Commission integrated systems• Ensure high levels of customer service and communication• Follow safety rules and maintain good driving habits________________________________________Qualifications:• Process-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills• Practical experience with internet and networking• Ability to work independently and resolve customer issues• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR (travel support provided)• Certifications or proficiency in any of the following is a plus:• Access Control: Honeywell, Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Brivo, Openpath• Video Surveillance: Genetec, Exacq, Avigilon, Axis, Techwin, Milestone VMS• Locking Hardware: ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite• Intrusion Systems: Vista, DSC, Bosch, DMP• Our Client will invest in training for the right candidate• Military experience and background welcomed
