ABOUT THE JOB
Role and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all employment/legal requirements. Communicate and craft effective company policies, update employee handbooks, contracts, job descriptions, and duties. Maintain accurate records of all documents pertaining to company policies/procedures and employees Process time, attendance and payroll Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages Maintain confidential company and employee information Ensure positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding Principles Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in solving such issues Oversee implementation of ECF programs to comply with various governmental regulations dealing with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other related Federal & State laws Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing new hires and employee data changes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information entered in the system Responsible for making sure all staffing needs are met in a timely manner Responsible for new employee orientations Understand and educate employees regarding ECF's benefits, including support of the annual enrollment process Assist in projects / initiatives to improve existing HR processes and systems Assist with investigations and formulate proper responses to government, legal, or internally reported employee relations issues Comply with external audits from regulatory agencies (Air Force, US Customs, TSA, and etc.)Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly Qualifications and Education Requirements: Self Motivated Strong written and verbal communication skills HR Management Certificate / Bachelor’s Degree in related field/discipline or equivalent experience Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and practices Working knowledge of employee relations Working knowledge of all areas of human resources Basic knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applications Able to analyze long-term implications of business decisions Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate position with clarity at all levels Ability to provide a high level of service to internal and external customers High energy and high motivation, with tolerance for stressful situations in a fast-paced environment Great work ethic with a can-do, self-starting attitude Great interpersonal and organizational skills Proficiency in spoken and written English Preferred Skills: Counseling Human Resources MS Office
