Full-time, in-person, 90-day (13-week) on-the-job training for the Warehouse Teammate role at Cowan Supply (a Hajoca Corporation company), a wholesale plumbing, pipe, valve and fittings distributor in Norcross, GA. Participants train one-on-one with an experienced Warehouse Teammate on warehouse safety, RF-scanner order picking for standard stock and customer-specific tagged material, exception handling, and outbound shipping for company trucks, UPS and freight carriers, with documented progress reviews at Days 30, 60 and 90. Training does not exceed 40 hours per week. Forklift operation is not part of this program. Participants who complete the program successfully are considered for full-time Warehouse Teammate employment.
Warehouse Teammate at Cowan Supply (a Hajoca Corporation company), a wholesale plumbing, pipe, valve and fittings distributor in Norcross, GA. Warehouse Teammates pick and stage customer orders using RF scanners and the Eclipse warehouse system, distinguish standard stock from customer-specific tagged material, resolve picking exceptions (short picks, wrong locations, damaged material), and prepare outbound shipments for company delivery trucks, UPS small parcel, and freight/LTL carriers. The role supports commercial plumbing, mechanical and industrial contractors and requires accuracy, safe material handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment. Full-time W-2 position, approximately $22/hour.
Command approval required before starting. Participants must pass Hajoca's standard pre-hire background check and drug screen before Day 1, at no cost to the participant.
