US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District
Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Safety & Occupational Health (SOH) Office, New England District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The primary duties of the position are clerical in nature and assistant oriented and involve the processing, preparation, and/or maintenance of records and other documents of importance which represent the transactions or business of the organization.
ABOUT THE JOB
This position provides essential office administrative support including budgeting, purchasing, supply management, data processing, and records management. Responsibilities include preparing and managing office budgets, processing invoices, distributing cost data for SOH-sponsored programs, and assisting with the implementation of AED and Drug-Free Workplace programs. The role also involves handling financial obligation reports, coordinating procurement of office supplies and equipment, supporting fitness center maintenance, managing correspondence and mail, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office files and equipment service records.In addition, the position serves as the Safety Office Training Coordinator, maintaining training records, updating electronic systems, coordinating training logistics, and managing vendor communications. The incumbent assists with medical surveillance and mishap reporting, tracks exposure data, and supports drug testing programs by scheduling tests, tracking results, and preparing reports. The employee also serves as the property hand-receipt account holder, conducting property inventories, maintaining logs, and addressing property-related inquiries.
