Company: Mended Rose PropertiesPosition: Construction Operations & Regional Branch Management TraineeProgram Duration: 180 DaysSchedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per WeekTraining Format: Initial In-Person Training / Hybrid Regional DevelopmentInitial Location: IowaFollow-On Location: Designated Regional Branch MarketPosition OverviewMended Rose Properties is seeking motivated transitioning military service members interested in developing careers in construction operations, project management, and business leadership.This structured training opportunity provides participants with comprehensive exposure to the residential construction industry, emphasizing roofing, siding, exterior improvements, and the operational systems required to manage a successful construction business.Participants will initially train alongside experienced company personnel in Iowa, gaining knowledge of construction practices, estimating, sales, production management, customer service, and financial operations.Following the initial training period, participants will transition to a hybrid learning environment focused on applying those skills within a developing regional market.Throughout the program, participants will receive direct mentorship, structured instruction, supervised practical assignments, and regular performance evaluations from Mended Rose Properties leadership.Primary Training Responsibilities* Construction Operations: Develop knowledge of residential roofing, siding, exterior construction systems, installation practices, safety requirements, and quality-control standards.* Sales & Estimating: Learn to conduct property inspections, calculate materials and labor requirements, prepare estimates, develop customer proposals, and manage sales opportunities.* Project Management: Gain experience coordinating construction schedules, material procurement, subcontractors, customer communication, project inspections, and completion procedures.* Regional Business Development: Conduct market research, identify business opportunities, establish professional referral relationships, and develop customer acquisition strategies.* Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Learn to identify, evaluate, and coordinate regional material suppliers and qualified construction subcontractors.* Financial Management: Develop an understanding of job costing, gross profit, operating expenses, sales forecasting, and branch financial performance.* Branch Operations: Learn company operating procedures, CRM management, production planning, resource allocation, operational reporting, and regional branch development.* Leadership Development: Develop communication, decision-making, accountability, problem-solving, and operational management skills through supervised practical experience.Desired QualificationsThis opportunity is intended for transitioning service members from all military occupational backgrounds.Ideal candidates demonstrate strong leadership potential, professionalism, communication skills, organizational abilities, personal accountability, and an interest in construction management or business operations.Previous construction experience is beneficial but not required.
