Department of Labor/DOD SkillBridge Program will assist transitioning Service members: Skill bridge gap between the end of service and start of civilian careers, gain knowledge and experience gained from opportunity, supports commanders' role as Service member reports move to civilian life, high-probability of post-experiential employment with industry partner sponsoring opportunity.
ABOUT THE JOB
The training plan will enable the SkillBridge participant to assume duties as a management and program analyst located within the Department of Labor in various sub agencies of the Department. The curriculum and activities content covers required series knowledge, skills and specific learning objectives. The curriculum delivery will be through formal course participation and on-the-job training. The DOL SkillBridge Point of Contact will validate and document all training during the internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume duties as a management and program analyst within the Department of Labor
- Participate in formal courses and on-the-job training as part of the curriculum
- Validate and document all training during the internship
QUALIFICATIONS
- Transitioning Service members eligible for the SkillBridge Program
- Ability to bridge gap between military service and civilian careers
- Gain knowledge and experience from the opportunity
