Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Case Management
At conclusion of the job training program, you will have the necessary skills, resources, and background to fully comprehend and lead case management for a legal firm. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Training in ADR Case Management. Learn case management software including CLIO, internal software, and Caseload Manager, engage in hands on case management for Resolute Mediation and Arbitration.
ABOUT THE JOB
Case Managers actively work on multiple cases at a time, including drafting briefs, collecting evidence, and interacting with clients. Job duties include reviewing case files and records, researching precedents and evidence, developing strategies and arguments for appeals, and drafting all written documents and briefs essential to each case. Additional job duties include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:Create and update case entries according to database guidelines.• Prepare onboarding paperwork for new clients.· Identify, track, and meet deadlines essential to cases.• Review files and assume responsibility for all assigned files.• Collect evidence and records, contact regional offices, and respond to all inquiries regarding cases.• Draft all written work essential to each case and send to Supervisor for review.• Prepare clients for exams.• Send paperwork to appropriate agencies and follow up with agencies regarding status of claims.• Interact with clients regarding status of cases and decisions.• Inform Supervisor of issues pertaining to cases and clients.• Close out files at the end of representation.
