ABOUT THE JOB
The Fleet Mechanic position is crucial for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles and equipment, performing routine maintenance and preventive care, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Fleet Mechanics ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards, collaborate with the operations team to schedule and prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks, and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.To qualify for this role, candidates should have proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on fleet maintenance, and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively is essential. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, along with knowledge of DOT regulations. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possess the physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
