Autonomous Loader Training Program
Training program is designed to build the foundational knowledge and skills required for individuals to enter a 6-month training program focused on becoming an Autonomous Loader Operator. The program emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, technology integration, and site awareness necessary for operating autonomous loaders in construction, mining, and industrial settings. At completion participants have the foundational skills required to begin specialized training as an Autonomous Loader Operator, focusing on safety, technology, and practical site operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
Instead of being subjected to the rigors of loader operation, the control center is stationed in a small climate controlled container. Cameras and other equipment on the loader provide for the ability to operate remotely. Ideally a candidate would be able bodied, but some accommodation can be made to the controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate autonomous loaders remotely from a control center.
- Ensure safety and site awareness during operations.
- Integrate technology and equipment knowledge for effective loader operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to operate remote control equipment.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and contribute.
- Able-bodied, with possible accommodations made to controls.
