The objective of this requirement is to obtain boat trailer and watercraft service support for EODGRU ONE units of action throughout all phases of force deployment, redeployment, and sustainment for EOD training, exercises, and missions. Required services will consist of trailer and watercraft support for preventive maintenance (e.g., regular engine checks, hull inspections) and corrective maintenance (e.g., engine repairs, hull patching) on government-owned equipment. This support is vital for managing logistical challenges, such as parts availability and adapting to evolving operational needs to ensure readiness for EOD training exercises and missions.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures; repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines on military SABAR equipment.Service and repair jet and propeller dive systems and gearing.Perform complex electrical troubleshooting and repair for ignition, lighting, panel controls, accessories, and DC output points. Perform preventative maintenance and/or corrective repair in accordancewith the Navy Maintenance & Material Management (3M) Program, utilizing appropriate Personnel Qualification Standards and software as directed.Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems. Shall perform shore-based operational/functional testing per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelinesMaintain and repair chassis, frames, and bodies. Service and repair boat trailersOperate hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and metersLubricate equipment; maintain and repair tires, batteries, brakes, and valves.Perform shop management functions such as maintenance scheduling and spare parts inventory control. Responsible for the movement of watercraft, trailers, outboard engines, or any watercraft system component or palletized repair parts.Operate Government vehicles for the purpose of diagnosis and testing of equipment faults and completed repairs. Maintain generally accepted safety & cleanliness standards within designated workspaces and warehouse/storage spaces.
