To equip transitioning military service members with practical, hands-on experience in Christian ministry, curriculum design, and non-profit organizational leadership. The Fellow will integrate into the EXSEL Discipleship Program at White Sulphur Springs (WSS), gaining vital experience across operations, applied theology, and discipleship to equipped to seamlessly transition into civilian roles in teaching, camp ministry, or pastoral leadership.
As an EXSEL Leadership & Ministry Fellow, you must be a DoD SkillBridge-eligible service member ready to translate your military leadership into a young adult mentorship and theological studies ministry. Your essential duties will actively span our three core pillars: mentoring young adult interns in their spiritual formation (Discipleship), partnering with the Director to develop and facilitate applied biblical curriculum (Academics), and driving the daily administrative, logistical, and hospitality functions of our active conference center (Service). Ultimately, we are seeking a leader of leaders who aligns with the values and mission of Officer’s Christian Fellowship and is eager to model a whole-hearted pursuit of faith while preparing for a vocational future in pastoral leadership, teaching, or camp operations.
