Superior Tube Products Manufacturing Engineer Internship
An internship with Superior Tube Products will provide you with opportunities to experience many aspects of engineering as you work on projects to help our production team create, develop, and optimize processes. You will be part of the Production Team as Engineering support to help drive standardization.
ABOUT THE JOB
Manufacturing Engineer: Opportunity to support productivity/continuous improvement methodologies at Superior Tube Products. As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our manufacturing processes to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support productivity/continuous improvement methodologies at Superior Tube Products.
- Support and enhance manufacturing processes to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of manufacturing operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Learn how to run efficient production lines by designing and testing new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems.
- Hone analytical skills, lean manufacturing, and communication skills to ensure production runs smoothly.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Machine Engineer intern will learn how to run efficient production lines by designing, and testing new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems. Hone their analytical skills, lean manufacturing, and communication skills to ensure production runs smoothly. We have multiple positions that do not require extensive training that a service member would be able to complete under 120 days. We have machine operator roles, engineering assistance roles, inventory, and other projects that would be able to support 120s or fewer. Our main goal would be to accommodate anywhere from 61-120 days.
