• Active-duty military member• Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance• Ten (10) years of experience with DCGS-MC, Cisco routers and switches, server operating systems management, Cyber security configuration compliance management/auditing, Windows Server 2012 or later, Windows 10 or later, Linux Systems Administration, Microsoft O365, SharePoint and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)• High school diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate• Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, CND or SSCP. Must have one of these certifications at time of hire and it must remain active
ABOUT THE JOB
• Establishing, maintaining, and assisting personnel in troubleshooting and repair of serial and IP-based communications systems and networks• Assisting government personnel in maintaining strict configuration control of current architectures• Participating in assigned Computer and Communications Systems Engineering Reviews and providing technical representation at meetings as required• Testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems• Assessing the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment• Coordinating and linking the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared• Developing, documenting, and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards• Providing network and system administration of the assigned Computer and Communications Systems• Providing software technical support for common software applications across multiple platforms within the DCGS-M Family of Systems
