Their responsibilities typically include managing and supervising tasks associated with receiving, handling, stocking, and controlling inventory of products and materials.Oversees commissary team which is composed of individuals with disabilities.Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary.Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.Responsible for maintaining, tracking, computing, and adjustments to attendance records and payroll.Managing inventory levels, ordering products, and ensuring stock availability for customers while minimizing waste.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety standards, health codes, and military guidelines.Overseeing cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the store premises and equipment.Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to commissary team.Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications & Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDAssociate degree in related field (Preferred)Minimum of (3) three years’ supervisory experience in a distribution settingExperience working with persons with disabilities or disabling conditionsValid driver’s licenseRequired Skills:Knowledge of how to operate in a managerial role.Knowledge of how to effectively schedule workers.Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.Ability to organize and establish work processesPreferred Qualifications and Education:Strong commitment to a high level of service and quality standards.Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop and lead teams.Ability to plan and organize.Proficient technological and computer software skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree in related field (Preferred)
  • Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in a distribution setting
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities or disabling conditions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of how to operate in a managerial role
  • Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
