Apple’s SkillBridge Fellowship Program offers transitioning service members a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic, corporate environment during their final six months of military service. Through this full-time fellowship, participants gain exposure to the rhythm and culture at Apple, while building professional relationships, refining their civilian workplace skills, and contributing to impactful projects in a supportive setting.Fellows are embedded within teams and given access to training and networking opportunities designed to help them navigate the transition from military to civilian careers with confidence. The program is structured to offer a meaningful, real-world experience that complements their military background and prepares them for future career success in the private sector.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Title: Wireless Bluetooth Integrity Engineer (SK4) Job description:As a successful Wireless Bluetooth Integrity and Quality Engineer, you will focus on testing Bluetooth enabled features in Appleʼs innovative products. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Daily test executions to validate features manually and with automation for current and next generation products.Interpretability testing of Apple and 3rd Party Bluetooth devices in multiple test environment and ecosystems.Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with development team and analyze the root causes for the issuesCollaborate with cross functional teams to get requirementsDesign comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experienceTriage for any discrepancies as well as monitor and drive customer issuesComplete both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high quality releasesBring up, perform regular maintenance and debugging of test setups and scriptsMinimum QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience requiredProven track record in defining robust test plans and delivering high quality outcomes.Efficient time management and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast paced environmentLaser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.Preferred QualificationsDomain expertise in one of these areas preferred: Bluetooth, WiFi, Audio, Wireless RF protocolsHighly motivated, dedicated, quick learner with ability to work individually and as a teamExcellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skillsProficient in one or more programming and scripting languagesExceptional problem solving and debugging skillsExperience on Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily test executions to validate features manually and with automation for current and next generation products.
  • Interoperability testing of Apple and 3rd Party Bluetooth devices in multiple test environments and ecosystems.
  • Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with development team and analyze the root causes for the issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to get requirements.
  • Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experience.
  • Triage for any discrepancies as well as monitor and drive customer issues.
  • Complete both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high quality releases.
  • Bring up, perform regular maintenance and debugging of test setups and scripts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven track record in defining robust test plans and delivering high quality outcomes.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.
  • Domain expertise in one of these areas preferred: Bluetooth, WiFi, Audio, Wireless RF protocols.
  • Highly motivated, dedicated, quick learner with ability to work individually and as a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in one or more programming and scripting languages.
  • Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience on Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is a plus.
