The objective of the Digital Design and Manufacturing program is to provide students with the skills needed for an entry-level career in computer aided drafting (CAD), 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and machining. The curriculum consists of 728 hours learning SolidWorks, the leading CAD software used in industry today. We teach from a manufacturing viewpoint, which allows students to design parts and assemblies, prototype them on 3D printers, and then build their designs in a shop environment. Students will train on manual and CNC lathes and mills, CNC press break, and more. Graduates will find employment in various industries including aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing, while many go on to open their businesses. The cost for the program is $33,813, and the students *GI BILL ® will cover tuition. All books, uniforms, equipment, and supplies including a gaming laptop and a 3D printer are included in the tuition, as well as a CSWA or CSWP certification in SolidWorks.
