Sr. Systems Engineer - Communication Modem Development
ABOUT THE JOB
Are you a talented and enthusiastic Senior Systems Engineer with outstanding technical, organizational and communication skills? Will you thrive in our small, elite team. Our high-performance computing systems are used for a variety of applications such as signals intelligence, secure/covert digital communications, threat detection, RF jammers, radio direction finding. To build these systems, we utilize state of the art hardware components including the latest FPGAs, SoCs, GPUs, and advanced software and firmware techniques that allow intuitive command and control of systems as well as data collection and processing. With such a wide variety of domains, career stagnation would not be a problem. You will be encouraged to work outside of the typical barriers of larger traditional defense companies. We do things differently. You would own Embedded Systems Waveform products and systems. This includes architecting, designing, and developing anti-jam communication systems with an expectation of driving the development of enterprise-wide common waveform architecture solutions. The company is developing a comprehensive portfolio of embedded communications waveforms that are hosted on 3U VPX modules permitting our customers to pick and choose a wide variety of capabilities to tailor the capability to the mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Embedded Systems Waveform products and systems
- Architect, design, and develop anti-jam communication systems
- Drive the development of enterprise-wide common waveform architecture solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding technical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a small, elite team
- Experience with high-performance computing systems used in signals intelligence, secure/covert digital communications, threat detection, RF jammers, radio direction finding
- Proficiency in utilizing state of the art hardware components including FPGAs, SoCs, GPUs
- Advanced knowledge in software and firmware techniques for system command and control, data collection, and processing
