This developmental role will work under the guidance of Manufacturing leadership, equipping them with knowledge and skills to excel in future manufacturing leadership roles within Belmark. Various tasks and responsibilities are expected, including but not limited to; new projects, process improvement, people management, research, writing reports, data management and performing any applicable administrative duties. Participants will graduate through positions with increasing technical and process knowledge, along with increased accountability and responsibility, including exposure to leadership roles, during a 12-week process.
Follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.Gain knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and all applicable management systems (i.e. food safety, quality, etc).Complete all assignments and mentorship assignments. Learn and understand all Belmark business units through exposure in each. Assist efforts with process improvement, productivity, cost reduction and quality. Learning how to lead a successful team/shift in a designated area. Support management and quality with complaints, root cause analysis and corrective action. Learn government regulation and how they relate to Belmark (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc).
