Project Safety Specialist

The objective of our program is to ensure the participants are trained and equipped with the required skills and abilities to ensure the company remains in compliance with governmental regulations, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices, implement safety programs and procedures, and assist employees with all aspects of safety which will enable K-Five to hire him/her with no hesitation.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Project Safety Specialist inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. This position will work to create and enforce a culture of safety within K-Five Construction. Responsibilities also include documenting safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures, and maintaining safety equipment supply and availability. This role will be assigned to a project that will primarily work overnights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
• Create and enforce a culture of safety within K-Five Construction.
• Document safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures.
• Maintain safety equipment supply and availability.

QUALIFICATIONS
