Operator Training
After learning how to properly run heavy equipment you will be required to efficiently operate the machine(s) while performing the required job duties. Manual labor will be done effectively on each jobsite. You must be able to work with other people on a jobsite while being supervised by the owner and his son.
ABOUT THE JOB
Job duties consist of becoming familiar with heavy equipment, being an equipment operator, and performing manual labor. You will become familiar with excavators by reading owner's manual(s), observing an operator, operating the equipment, and completing daily maintenance on one or two excavators. Once you are able to properly operate the equipment, you will be traveling with the job owner to different jobsites. You will be digging holes/trenches, clearing house pads, and building driveways.Manual labor duties include shoveling dirt, placing septic system chambers in the trenches, and carrying tools.All jobs will be in the state in of Georgia. Duties on each jobsite will be based on the customers' wants or needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become familiar with heavy equipment, including excavators.
- Operate heavy equipment efficiently after training.
- Perform manual labor effectively on each jobsite.
- Travel with job owner to different jobsites across North Georgia.
- Carry out specific tasks such as digging holes/trenches, clearing house pads, and building driveways.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work effectively with other people.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions outdoors.
- Learn to operate heavy equipment by reading manuals, observing others, and hands-on operation.
- Complete daily maintenance on one or two excavators.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
You should know work effectively with other people and work in different types of weather conditions while being outdoors.
