8-Week pre-apprenticeship into the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. 320 Hours of Hands on and Class Room Training, preparing the service member for a career with the Untied Brotherhood of Carpenters apprenticeship program.

ABOUT THE JOB

Millwrights - Industrial mechanic that works in all industries of rotating equipment (Fed Ex, UPS, Amazon, Power Plants, Waste Water Treament, Hydro Electric, Solar, Wind, Gas Turbines, Compressors, Oil and Gas, Steam Turbines, Nuclear, Automotive, Machinery, etc.General Carpenter - Heavy Highway, Scaffolding, Solar, Framing, Concrete, Industrial Finishes, Drywall, Metal Stud, Interior Systems, Flooring, etc

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands-on training in various carpentry and mechanical roles
• Classroom training to prepare for apprenticeship
• Participation in a range of industries including power plants, waste water treatment, and construction

Service Members completing the UBC MVP Program are expected to join the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and enter into the apprenticeship upon completion of the program and discharge from the Military.
