Confined Space Attendant / Rescue TechnicianIES Safety is hiring transitioning service members into our Confined Space team, supporting industrial, oil & gas, and commercial clients across the Gulf region. Interns train alongside certified technicians on atmospheric monitoring, entry permitting, hole-watch duties, retrieval systems, and emergency rescue procedures in compliance with OSHA 1910.146. The role builds on the discipline, situational awareness, and team-based safety mindset service members already possess. Training prepares interns for full-time placement as Confined Space Attendants or Rescue Technicians at the conclusion of the program. Industrial Firefighter / Emergency Response TechnicianIES Safety trains transitioning service members as Industrial Firefighters supporting refineries, petrochemical facilities, and commercial clients throughout the region. Interns develop competency in industrial fire suppression, foam application, hose handling, SCBA use, hazmat awareness, and incident command coordination, working alongside experienced response crews on active job sites. Military fire, damage control, and emergency response experience translates directly into this role. The program is designed to prepare interns for immediate full-time hire as Emergency Response Technicians upon successful completion.
Confined Space Attendant / Rescue Technician — Job DescriptionPosition OverviewIES Safety's Confined Space Attendant / Rescue Technician supports industrial, oil & gas, and commercial clients by providing on-site safety monitoring, atmospheric testing, and emergency rescue capability for personnel working in permit-required confined spaces.
