Construction Assistant project Manager
In this role, you will manage assigned scope(s) of work within project(s) as directed by supervisor. Travel and background/education within construction is required and may be full-time on the job site work as needed. Job Responsibilities:Identifies and qualifies subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work. Prepares and transmits bid packages and invitations to bid. Receives and analyzes received bids. In conjunction with the project manager, may negotiate and award subcontracts and purchase orders. Prepares and maintains a purchase control logParticipates in design review meetings and reviews and monitors design with particular attention to scope, cost changes, and constructability. May be responsible for applying for, tracking, and expediting project permitsPrepares detailed estimates and cost codes for initial cost control reporting and updates labor cost reports and summary cost reports. Works with accounting to maintain subcontractor and vendor requirements for payment processingWorks with the project team to prepare and update progress schedules including short-term interval schedules. OTHER
The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell’s delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs.
