Candidates for this and every DoD SkillBridge internship opportunity with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are able to intern for 180, 120, and 90 days and MUST be at least 11 MONTHS away from (outside of) separation. Why 11 months? We are able to host SkillBridge interns for their final 180, 120, and/or 90 days on active-duty depending on the individual service-member’s situation. ABOUT THE JOB
In this Management and Program Analyst role, available in fully remote or in-person in Washington, D.C., you will become a key team member of Homeland Security individuals involved in directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of mission and administrative program functions for Office of Field Operations. In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals. Your job will include:Create training materials, job aids and new employment checklists for the OFO field. Write high level papers regarding the status of OFO Training programs. Deliver training to frontline personnel, leadership and first line supervisors. Assist Mission Support Personnel with data entry (Microsoft Excel), conducting inventories, procurement of supplies and services, and fleet-related tasks. Assist Program Managers with preparing and processing reports, filing, printing, and shipping items to the field as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
