This is for a remove project analyst (REMOTE) to conduct energy analysis of facilities and solution conceptual design. Our client delivers hybrid power systems that improve security, savings and sustainability for a wide range of facilities and a leading developer of Resilience Hubs - community-serving facilities augmented to support residents and coordinate resource distribution and services before, during, or after a natural hazard event. Clients served include critical facilities that power communities: Health Clinics, Resilience Hubs, Multi-Family Housing, State & Local Government, Manufacturing & Commercial First Responders, and Utilities Commercial.

ABOUT THE JOB

Functions1. Collect and analyze energy data from customer facilities2. Compile/maintain databases of available components (wind, solar, battery, generators, and controllers) and their capabilities3. Create conceptual designs optimized to meet client goals4. Assess feasibility of physical implementation of conceptual designs regarding electrical systems, physical siting of components, and code compliance5. Communicate with clients and facilitate timely answers to their questions6. Update project status in company’s Project Management platform7. Schedule meetings and presentations both internally and externally8. Track milestones and deadlines to ensure prompt and complete execution of tasks.9. Maintain meeting minutes and notes for projects10. Understand utility rate structure and incentives to design optimized solutions depending on the project location.11. Collaborate effectively with a team of diverse backgrounds and execute tasks to achieve project goalsRequirements - Minimum (firm)***Must have an availability to start the internship Summer 2025 (June/July)• Passion for renewable and/or distributed generation• Strong academic background (e.g., undergraduate degree, nuclear or flight experience, etc.) or other technical background or certification (engineering, power electronics, etc.)• Desire to take initiative, learn new skills, and pursue additional responsibility• Strong communication and presentation skills using PowerPoint presentations• Highly capable in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new technical and economic analysis softwareRequirements - Preferred• Demonstrated ability to track and manage multiple concurrent projects• Experience in one or more CAD programs• Electrical or Facilities Management background (by degree or work experience)• Project Management experience (e.g., Defense Acquisition University, Program Management Institute, etc.)• Process improvement certification (Lean, 6σ, etc.)
