The Construction Surveyor Training Plan is a structured, field-focused program designed to develop competent construction surveyors capable of safely supporting earthwork and site development operations. The plan emphasizes jobsite safety, surveying fundamentals, instrument setup and operation, accurate data collection, and practical construction layout and staking methods. Trainees progress from foundational concepts such as plan reading, benchmarks, elevations, and basic math, into hands-on use of levels, total stations, and GNSS equipment, followed by real-world layout workflows and field-to-office data processes. The program is designed to produce surveyors who can work independently, collect reliable data, support construction layout, and integrate effectively with project and earthwork teams.
