The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex DoW programs, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality across the full project lifecycle. This role leads cross-functional teams, coordinates staffing in support of contract requirements, and delivers executive-level reporting to government stakeholders. The position supports IT modernization and transformation initiatives, applying expertise in infrastructure, systems design, acquisition support, and quality assurance to ensure mission success.
Responsibilities:• Develop and manage project plans by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.• Coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.• Create detailed schedules and track progress, making adjustments as needed to meet milestones and deadlines.• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and manage any changes or delays effectively.• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to reduce their impact.• Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, updating plans as needed.• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet standards and client expectations.• Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements to maintain high performance.• Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget status, and risk assessments, to stakeholders and clients.• Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.• Coordinate hiring and staffing efforts in accordance with contract requirements.• Apply knowledge of IT rationalization, infrastructure requirements, maintenance systems, technology assessments, and systems design to support project success.• Support program activities related to quality assurance, acquisition, and budget planning in alignment with IT transformation objectives.• Manage stakeholder communication, address concerns, and ensure expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.• Prior experience as a Senior Enlisted or Officer is preferred.• PMP or ITILv3 Intermediate certification preferred.• Proven experience in schedule development, risk management, quality management, and performance reporting.• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
