The park maintenance program is designed to prepare participants to be able to adapt to the unique challenges of maintaining a State Park and enhancing the experiences of park guests. Training modules will focus on grounds, equipment, trail, campgrounds, and wastewater treatment plant maintenance programs.
Park Maintenance is responsible for providing hands-on support to the maintenance team in keeping facilities, equipment, and grounds operating safely and efficiently. This role focuses on executing routine maintenance task, conducting basic repairs, assisting with preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring that work areas remain clean and safe. Assisting with daily cleaning, upkeep, and sanitation of building interior and exteriors. Perform minor repairs. Help execute scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on equipment, heating, ventilation, and AC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. Monitor and report any potential issues before they escalate into larger problems.
