Regardless of how, when or where you want to fly, our mission is simple; deliver a premium, personalized aviation experience for every customer.Role Overview: What You’ll Be DoingAs a Wheels Up Pilot SkillBridge Participant, you will gain immersive exposure to Wheels Up flight operations, supporting Part 135 missions in a dynamic, point-to-point operating environment.You will develop practical experience in:• Aircraft operations and mission execution • Flight planning and coordination • Safety, compliance, and regulatory adherence • Delivering a premium customer experience Pilots serve as trusted brand ambassadors, ensuring every flight reflects Wheels Up’s commitment to safety, precision, and service excellence.This role reports to the Chief Pilot and indirectly to the Director of Operations.Job Location & Domicile• Flexible – Select major airports and several regional airports with regular airline service are available as primary and secondary pilot domiciles.Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions• Serve as Second in Command, as assigned, operating company aircraft under 14 CFR Part 135 in full compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and operational specifications.• Execute all phases of flight operations in a floating, point-to-point environment, maintaining operational flexibility without a designated home base.• Collaborate closely with Flight Operations, Mission Planning, and Dispatch to review flight releases, weather, NOTAMs, MELs, performance data, and risk assessments prior to each mission.• Ensure aircraft readiness by conducting thorough pre-flight, enroute, and post-flight inspections, verifying airworthiness, required documentation, and onboard equipment.• Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making (ADM) and risk management to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.• Provide a high-touch, personalized travel experience for members and clients, serving as a professional and discreet brand ambassador in all interactions.• Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with crew members, maintenance, dispatch, and leadership throughout each mission.• Accurately complete and submit all required flight logs, duty and rest records, aircraft discrepancy reports, and regulatory documentation in accordance with company and FAA requirements.• Coordinate with Maintenance Control to report discrepancies, MEL items, and aircraft status, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal operational impact.• Adhere to company standards for uniform appearance, conduct, and service etiquette, reflecting Wheels Up’s commitment to professionalism and service excellence.• Participate in recurrent training, checking events, safety initiatives, and operational briefings as required.• Demonstrate flexibility to support variable schedules, extended duty periods, and travel as dictated by operational needs.What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements Please read all the minimum qualifications carefully.
